 Currarong is the gateway to the Beecroft Peninsula. There are many walks (most of which start at Bosom Beach) including the Merimbula Wreck walk about one hour, Coomies walk about three hours, some with Aboriginal significance. Then there is the drive to Honeymoon Bay and Point Perpendicular both offering magnificent views of Jervis Bay. Honeymoon Bay is a popular camping spot and at Point Perpendicular you will see the magnificent Point Perpendicular Lighthouse. An added attraction at Christmas time is the magical Christmas Window display at Ethel and Henry Hall's house 60 Warrain Crescent Currarong. This is a must for families - a tradition already 25 years old.


An ideal spot for a family picnic Bosom Beach is surronded by native bushland.



 Currarong's fishing is among the best on the South Coast. It is the closest landing point to the world famous Sir John Young Banks where numerous Australian records have been taken in the game fishing scene. Currarong is also very famous for land based game fishing where Marlin, Yellow Fin Tuna and extra large Kingfish are taken from the rocks on live bait every year. Currarong is also a hot spot for table fish, species include Bream, Flathead, Snapper, Whiting and Black Fish .
