  The Currarong Progress Association is a community volunteer organisation of residents and ratepayers   of the Currarong local area. It forwards and receives general information, Council business papers  and   other correspondence from Council and local groups and discusses issues relative to Currarong in   particular and the Shoalhaven in general. Membership is open to business operators in Currarong,rate   payers and residents of the village and caravan park. Current membership fee is $3.00 per annum.
  Meeting dates are the 2nd Wednesday of each month except January with a start time of 7.30pm.   Generally the progress hall is open at 7pm to view correspondence prior to the meeting. Tea/coffee  is   available. The AGM is held in July each year. A monthly agenda is posted to our listed email  recipients   one week prior to meeting date. It is also displayed on the Currarong progress community  board ( next   to the post office).

"There is a new draft Shoalhaven Local Environmental Plan (SLEP2009) available on Council's website. Residents are encouraged to log onto the site and view the draft plan. It should be on public display early next year for written comments.

The draft DCP 118 (development control plan) has been released by Council and refers to "areas of coastal hazard".

Whats happending this xmas in Currarong.....Bingo will start from 26th Dec and go through to 26th Jan

The last progress meeting for the year will be held 9th Dec from 7.30pm. Residents and ratepayers are welcome"



Xmas Carols - it is expected that this will be held on the 19th Dec in Dolphin Reserve.

Last progress meeting for 2010 will be 10th december.
